Chris wants to say that he appreciates ALL your help and suggestions and being there for me.
He is going back to work part-time Wednesday at the YMCA summer camp and will start his 4th semester at community college on August 23, he is happy to be healthy again and gaining weight back slowly.

You're lucky to have an advocate like your Mom. Sounds like you both have fought the good fight and are on the road to success!

Chris! It's so great to see you posting. You're sounding pretty darn good. I hope things continue to be just fine for you. You've been through way too much in your young life. You really deserve to just go out and have fun doing whatever it is you want to do.

Thanks so much for checking in.

Hi Chris
It is so great to hear you are doing so well. Your Mom is great. She cares so much for you and also helps others by posting your experiences. We are all so lucky to have this site and are not alone.
Enjoy the summer now!

Chris, Nice to see you back here. Can't blame you one bit for not wanting to dwell on your past. We all cope in our own ways. Good idea to be forward thinking, and how great for you to be working!

Welcome back!

Take a deep breath and relax; this too will pass.

Thanks to all you guys for all you support. Work is great, Chris is the main attraction among the kids he watches when I go in the pool lol. I'd say he's 95% recovered and the rest is just getting a regular daily intubation schedule back.
