Cleveland Clinic is now funneling all their K-pouch surgeries through Dr. Deitz and and Dr. Kiran. They are doing this in order to let those surgeons perfect their techniques.

Nothing is formal, but it seems that Dr. Launer may retire from surgery by years end to focus on his hospital administrative duties. He will remain avail for consults/specialized problems.
Also, what is important is how a hospital handles the aftercare program. Immediately after surgery, there is a specific nursing team that manages the kock pouch patients 24/7. Dr.s Worsey and Salganic follow the exact the same protocol.
