)In the never ending batle of getting my K pouch healthy and happy and all of the connective tissue around it to support it..I am forever paranoid (justifiably most times
I know that my pouch is still attached (no leakage and no backflow)...and my little stoma is just so cute Thoughts??? I have started mild exercise again and deep breathing to muscle up the abdominal mush that I have become since all of this started....but there is no real change just yet...am I just being paranoid? (2 pairs of noid???) Sharon It could be worse...oh, wait..it already has been! then I guess it can only get better from here.... |

Sharon..I have a spare tire of fat right above my valve going about 6 inches left to right. This is perfectly normal - it's a pocket of fat that develops after we get older/gain weight. That is why I take my fingers and pull it up and then make the area taut to insert cath.
My valve is is disconnected to my pouch and all is fine with it. I don't even pay attention to directional ways the cath inserts. I would make every effort to see Dr C dates work. You are so stressed by all this, and he is the one who can releive your mind. Proctocolectomy 1979; Kock Pouch 1980; valve repairs 1980/83/85; Cholecystectomy (gallbladder) 1987 |
