My stoma has never turned into the belly button type. It's still round and flat and a little smaller then the size of a dime - and there is no outer red edge now.

I think it took about 3 mos...now just a really red healthy round stoma with white skin border that's really flushed nice against my belly. But you have a BCIR so not sure if they make it different - hopefully some bcir'ers will respond. Are you worried cuz you don't like it cosmetically or that you think it's infected?

Not worried about it, just would be nice to have a nice clean looking button hole.
