Wonder how many there are on and off the boards.

I have had a K pouch for almost 40 years. Had UC at 20 years of age and conventional ileostomy. After about three years had one of first K pouches done in US by Dr. Stewart King in Stamford, CT.

I was wondering same. I had ileo 1979, and koch pouch 1980 by Dr. Gerber in Alhambra CA who trained with Dr. Kock. I'm 50 now..

I dont know about here, but I would be just as curious about overall in the US. Are we talking a thousand or are we talking 10,000 or more?

Good question for Dr Fazio and Bauer, Milsom, Richardson, Sung, Launer, thoe main docs who have perfoemed them in any numbers over the years. They have data compiled as they do for j pouches.
