I just heard from Holly. Chris' gravity bag tube accidentally came out at home so he had to try to intubate, but he couldn't get the catheter in. She took him straight to the hospital in St. Petersburg where he was admitted. He is in a private room and they are satisfied with the care he is getting there so far. A nurse was able to get a catheter back in. They are hoping to get advice from Dr. Fazio, but he has been hard to reach. I will update if I hear any more news.

Wow!

Holly and Chris, I haven't been on in a while and I was shocked to see that Chris was having problems again, and that you and he have had to criss cross the country to get anything resolved. I hope this latest admission is only a blip and he gets back to health soon.

Thanks Donna for posting for me. Chris is exhausted. Everything is great here. The staff is superb, we adore the Dr and care is exceptional. The nurse let us borrow her laptop and took me shopping today for what I needed. Dr Shore spoke to Dr Fazio,Will discuss discharge orders and follow up tomorrow.
Chris is on suction!a bit weird, they don't use faceplate and gravity bags here.
Dr Shore learned from Dr Fazio and Dr Launer.
He is phenomenal. We spoke for hours last night and again this morning. Still a long drive for an emergency, ran into an accident on the highway and had to get off and hail a cop to call an ambulance who finally agreed to take him the last 40 miles, looking to relocate here sooner than later.Off TPN.Will post when we have news.

Wow, what a nightmare! I am so glad that you were received well and treated better once you arrived. Perhaps a little relaxation can happen. The visit with the new doc was going to be soon wasn't it? Next week or two? I sure can't imagine driving a distance like that for an emergency. You must have nerves of steel...

I will be thinking healing thoughts for Chris today.

Take a deep breath and relax; this too will pass.
