Holly,

I have been doing a bit of traveling lately and have a few ideas for Chris.

I also have the leg luggah. It works well as long as he isn't going to be doing a ton of walking. If he is, then he may want something underneath the straps as they tend to rub.

The catheter and Ampatches fit great in this carrier. The syringe is a bit more of a challenge for me. What my solution has been to make this work is for several modifications to my supplies that are different than at home.

I have "borrowed" some of those little lotion bottles/shampoo bottles from hotels. If you thoroughly wash those out (and pick one that has a large enough opening for the catheter head), you can fill it with lubricant. I will fill it with lubricant and store it in the front sleeve (I have also taken to use that in my backpack as its quick and easy). I went skiing this last weekend and couldnt figure out how I was going to clean the catheter since the leg luggah doesnt fit the syringe nor the water container. I took another of those hotel lotion bottles and filled it with water. I also went out and purchased what my wife calls a "baby snot sucker". I dont know what the real name of it is, but its a small device that suctions boogers from a babys nose. I will dip the end of that in the lotion bottle of water and dispense into the used catheter. Shoots enough water to clean it out in one shot. Small enough to fit in with the catheter.

Not sure if he wants to try this, but thought I would share what is working for me.

I always carry a bottle of water with one of the sport nozzels. It allows you to spray a straight stream of water into the catheter for purposes of cleaning it. Although when I am home I use lubricant, I get by with water when I am traveling.
