You can delete one of your own posts. Here's how.
Click on the post to open it. At the bottom right of the post you will see a small folder with eraser icon. Click on it, a window will open to edit your post. Right next to the 'POST NOW' button you should have an option to 'Delete message...?'
Click it and confirm.

For some reason I can't delete a post if someone has already replied to it.
Anyone else notice this?

You should be able to. You just cannot delete other people's posts. The exception is that if you are the one who started the thread, if you delete the first post, the entire thread goes.

For some reason, that doesn't work for me. If I start a thread and it's been replied to, my only option is to edit my orginal post.

John, you are right. I just did a test. This must have changed since the new formatting. But this should only be if your post is the first post that starts the thread.
