When I registered, I didn't create a signature with the details of my surgery, etc.

I was thinking I'd create one now, but can't figure out how. (I thought it'd be on the Preferences page, but if it's there, I'm not seeing it.)

Can this be done retroactively?

Click Go. Then click Personal Zone. Once you're there you'll see: View/Edit Complete Profile in the upper right corner. That's where you can edit everything.
