It seems I've lost my ability to edit a post. I posted a response this evening and wanted to do a minor edit immediately after posting. However, the icons at the bottom right of posted message don't appear as they did on previous occassions. Can anyone help?

Hmmm...my problems seem to be greater than the edit function. I now notice (haven't been on the site much lately) that even though I login to create or respond to a post, the Login/Join message is constantly present. I have permissions to post/reply, but the message never indicates that I'm logged on.

First try holding down the shift key and refresh your browser.
If that doesn't help, delete cookies and restart.
