Hey all,.Im a jpoucher with chronic pouchitis,I take 3 xifaxan and 2 shots of Cortifoam daily,.Ive been in remission for about 6months but I started getting pouchitis again. I took 1 cipro yesterday and Im back in remission. I usually take a 10 day cycle. Here is my question,..does anyone take Cipro for less than 10 days?Since I'm feeling better already, maybe a 3 day cycle will work? Everytime I take Cipro ,its a 10 day cycle and then it takes exactly 3 weeks(21 days) for it to leave my blood. Im a competitive racquetball player and cipro makes my legs weak, throws off my reaction time and makes me play lousy,..I have a pro stop tournament march 11th and I want to have this out of my system,..anyone have success with a 2-4 day cycle for a small case of pouchitis?
