Hi all,

I am a 30 (almost 31) year old female j-poucher (and genetic counselor) in St. Louis and willing to support in any way I can. I can't be shocked/grossed out with discussion or experience of GI medical details, thoughts/feelings, etc.

I was Dx'd with UC at 24 years old (2004) after having symptoms and getting misdiagnosed for 3 years prior. Had colectomy 10/02/2008 and take down on 11/16/2008. Have had some GI complications and thus learned a lot and experienced even more.

Also, my husband and I want to start a family despite my GI issues, the obstacle of my anovulation, and the side effects I experience with fertility hormones.

Anyway, point is that I have experience with a lot of different medical stuff, every emotional roller coaster that exists, and have read every article/research that applies to it all.

Email or private message is the best way to get in touch with me. My email is melissa.s.fuller@gmail.com .

Good luck to you all.

Melissa
