Hello everyone, I am new to this website. I am 49 and retired from the Navy. I had low rectal cancer and the surgeon removed my rectum and made me what he called a neo-rectum. He was quick to correct me when I refered to it as a J-pouch. I really don't know what I have but after nearly eight weeks after my reversal, I still cant control a bowel movement. could anyone tell me if this is normal and will it ever get better? Please email me at "autumneagle@verizon.net", if you have any information for me. Thanks in advance.
