I had sucessful surgery in 3/2006. I had my take-down 6/2006. I had some adhesion complications and had 2 additional hospital stays and then another surgery 7/2006. It is now 1/2010- I'm 37 and I feel great. The surgery was worth it. It was not an easy surgery and/or recovery- but worth it. I have a 'normal' life now. I promised myself if I got through it- I would continue to support CCFA and J-Pouch.org and 'pay it forward' since these sites helped me so much.
