Hi my name is ASHley I am 26/f that lives in mobile, AL. I have been a jpoucher since 2006. I had a relatively aggressive form of UC that was only diagnosed about a year before my final closure surgery. I had a rough year in and out of hospitals before finally having my surgery. Been through a lot and can safely say know a lot. Had serious complications for the first 2yrs after my surgery with pouchitis and my CR said soon to be pouch failure. I figured out a way to to heal my pouch and save it. Since mid 2008 have not had 1 flare up of pouchitis and look forward to not every having it again.
