Hi, I have been on and off this site for years. Noticed LA is having a jpouch support group meeting in Aug. Wondering if anyone meets around here. I live in Sacramento, but was raised in the bay area (Vallejo). Any info would be great! Thanks!

Hi Shanee. I just recently had my takedown and was also wondering about support groups here in the Bay Area. I think CCFA is offering j-pouch support groups every couple months in Pleasanton and Walnut Creek but I have to find out when the next meeting is. I'll let you know.

Hi Shanee I live in the ROcklin/Roseville area. There are several of us in the general vacinity. There is a CCFA group that meets in Roseville monthly (I have not attended). There was someone I met for tea from this site "Gutless Girlie", she has been busy working, however I know she was very interested in starting a support group. I am willing to try and get some of us together if you are interested? Jennifer

Hello all! I've been thinking about trying to put together a j-pouch meeting again, maybe more people would be interested this time! Like Jennifer said, I've been working ridiculous hours lately. In fact I haven't been on this site in quite some time. Would anyone be interested in meeting sometime in September?

Now that I know who you are , I'll try to make sure either Thomas or I (or both!) make it! I think he's only got classes on T/Th this semester, so Saturday should be fine--just don't make it too early.

Thanks Connie. Now that my kids are out of the home I completely understand about getting up 'early'. I refuse to get out of bed early on Saturday anymore. jennifer
