My disease disabled me from continuing my stressful career in a cubicle handling workers compensation claims (you can't just drop phone calls to run to the one restroom on the floor which is through two security doors and down a long hall). I returned to my first love, art. . . and now I am a full-time (when I can actually be productive) artist! Example below: Provincetown (watercolor)

Debra, your work is gorgeous! And I KNOW what a difficult medium watercolor is. I'm an attorney.

I am a behaviorist working with people with developmental disabilities. I am also a musician (bassist) who plays with several bands in the NYC area as well as doing studio work. I am 33, have a wife and 2 daughters (4 and 2) and we live in NJ. I had my surgeries almost 14 years ago now (march and July 1993, January 4 1994) and have been fairly healthy since then. I am very happy to have found this forum, although I do personally know 3 other people who have had this surgery (and 2 of them are also musicians).
