Hi there,

I am 24 and live in the lower mainland. Wondering if there is anyone living in this area who might be interested in chatting about his/her experiences. I have a temp. ileostomy, j-pouch creation to be in December. I had a very trying first surgery. Would love to get to know others who have dealt with the same procedures.

I'm 22,I currently have a loop ileo and my takedown is hopefully in December (find out after pouchogram in 2 weeks). I live in New Westminster and am finishing up my business degree at SFU. I would love to get to know others like me as well! (my surgeon is Dr. Brown)

Hi! Live in Richmond, I also have a ileostomy which might be temp. I would love to hear what you know about other procedures to follow as since my surg. I have been avoiding the Docs till I know what to do and I can't bear the thought of being that sick or staying in Hosp. again even thought its been a year and I was really sick for a whole year before that. My condition was so rare I had noone to reference for info and even my doc was taking around the world to find info. Now I am some kind of Medical Journal. Look forward to hearing from anyone who might have any insight
