Please do yourself a favor and check out the Connecticut Surgical Group in Hartford. Others here have good things to say about Dr. Cohen, and my surgeon, Dr Paul Vignati, is in one word, AMAZING. His wonderful personality, is equal to his skills as a surgeon. I have zero problems or complications. Best of luck to you! Monique

As for bedside manner he was very good. He took all the time I needed to ask questions and really explained things to me. His office is very good about getting you in if you have a problem. He has great staff too. I moved to NY and have a new surgeon but I'd go back to Dr. Wojcik in a minute if I could. My best advice is to make an initial visit with him and see what you think. Judy

seriously you should check on Dr Vernon Newnton Wellesley Hospital. He has excelent bedside manner and is a fantastic surgeon. He did my surgery in 1987 and I have absolutely no problems and take no meds. He also trained under Dr. Parks who invented the j-pouch.
