Hi, i'm new to this forum. I saw a general surgeon today, and it seems he is recommending the surgery for me. I joined this forum to get more info from those that have gone through it. And hopefully be one of those that will be posting about all the successes once I experience mine!!

Hi Christie,
Welcome aboard! We live in Eugene, just a great little town. There are a handful of folks here from the Oregon area and of all ages. Sorry to hear that you've been struggling, but you'll find lots of helpful info on this board to let you know are not alone. Here is an incredible post that was called "For those not forced into surgery" that you may find some interesting since there are many stories on here somewhat like yours. http://j-pouch.org/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/9151071921/m/1621...621027232#1621027232 Also, if you know a topic you want info on, you can first try searching for it under the "FIND" feature, a great resource for many of us. Holler or PM (private message) if you need anything, Megan & Mark Megan & Mark Surgery/Recovery Photo Blog below. Pictures are graphic so be advised. Please note, everyone's experience is specific to them, but this is Mark's journey: http://www.flickr.com/photos/markandmegan/sets/ |
