Okay Folks,
This may sound like a ridiculous question, but here goes.....

I had a sonogram today, and the doctor told me that my right ovary is 11.5 cm x 7 cm. Maybe I am just in denial, but does that not sound like the measurements of a j-pouch? Could an inexperienced doctor or technician mistake my j-pouch for a cyst or enlarged ovary? Are they anywhere near each other? I'm having a CT scan just to be sure, but I'd hate to spend all that money to find out they read the sonogram wrong.

Any thoughts???

I think you may be onto something with your suspicion. I recently had a pelvic ultrasound done and the report states that my right ovary measures 2.3 x 1.2 x 2.0. The left ovary measures 2.5 x 2.3 x. 2.5.
