I have been taking lomotil for the past 5months and it has improved the frequency of my bathroom trips so much. I am going to be doing a frozen embryo transfer on thurs so I discontinued the lomotil a couple days ago. I have so much more urgency and my bathroom trips have increased again. I know that lomotil is a category C. Has anyone taken lomotil during pregnancy? Immodium doesnt work as well for me but has anyone takin immodium during pregnancy?

I took Imodium & Flagyl throughout my entire pregnancy and everything was fine. I took 2 tablets of Imodium and 1 250mg tablet of Flagyl per day.

lashton, you may also find that you won't need to use anything to slow your bowels once you are pregnant. especially in the beginning, hormoones slowed down my digestion so much that i was only going once or twice per day. once the baby starts getting bigger and compressing your pouch, that's a different story. i learned to just adjust to that for the last trimester.
