Hi Allison,
I have protein s deficiency. I had to use heparin injections twice daily throughout my pregnancy. After I had my son, then I took coumadin(by mouth for about 4-6wks).
May I ask why you need to take blood thinners?

I need them because I have a history of blood clots.
Can you tell me how the injections were for you?

It was difficult for me at first b/c I didn't like the whole needle part but I totally got used to it! By the end I was like, oh, that's it, okay  Lem |

My daughter had a DVT and is now 6 mos. pregnant. They are suggesting a vaginal delivery because of the DVT. Cleveland Clinic recommends C-section with most j-pouches. What did you have? Could you have an epidural?
