I have finally felt good enough to sit at the computer after my grueling c-section. The surgery went very very smoothly, no problems except the OB found some scar tissue around my left ovary (THAT'S why it took so long!). I had a beautiful baby girl named Esther! 6 pounds, 10 ounces, 19 inches and absolutely delicious! Recovery has been tough, so y'all still waiting for yours, take it easy - really, don't do anything that someone else can do for you. Just stay in bed, nurse your baby, get up only to pee and maybe go outside to get the mail. That's it! I've been home for a week now, and I'm only just starting to feel normal. Anyway, gotta go, baby needs me...
It must be very difficult to take your eyes off that cherub! She's absolutely adorable. You'll now notice that no one will know you exist. You're just the 'thing' that holds the baby for people to oogle. Don't expect eye contact with anyone for a good long while!
Congratulations!
kathy

What an absolutely beautiful baby. I have been following several of you closely on this web site. You are all so brave with some of the obstacles you have encountered. I am not sure I could find the same strength. It has been a treat to see the end result. Takecare Jennifer
