Well, all, 2 weeks from today we meet our baby girl! Everything is going well, baby is healthy and active.

I'm pretty miserable and the heat and humidity here isn't helping, but I keep telling myself it's only 2 more weeks...

How are the rest of you Moms to be doing?

Congrats! You must be so excited. Are they performing the c-section early? My baby is coming on Monday (yikes!) which happens to be on the due date. I was really lucky that they let me wait that long. The first date the OB gave me was 2 weeks ago and I just didn't feel right about it. You have to trust your gut, right? I just knew somehow that the babe needed to be in there a little longer and if they'd please give me a later date. I'm so excited, but do you know what is weird? I have this weird feeling that because I was such a sick kid (and adult with all the UC problems), that my kid will be sick too. Isn't that awful!? I'm sure it will be fine. Are you worried about anything? You probably feel better with the second one - the first babe being so new an experience. Anyway, I'm rambling, take care and I hope you and all the other expectant mommies have an comfortable pregnancy and an easy birth.

Good luck to the both of you!! My c-section for the twins has been scheduled for August 4th. My due date is August 8th but I and the docs think that I will not even make it to the scheduled c-section date.

I'm feeling really good. My ankles and my feet are beginning to swell though. I am predicting two more weeks which would put me around week 37 which is a very good time for twins.

I'll be thinking of you!!

My first scheduled c was for 11 days before the due date - my son was 7lbs 10oz and very healthy.

This baby is going to be delivered 7 days before the due date and we're expecting she'll be about the same size.

Get used to the worrying - it doesn't get any better with baby #2. But, my husband and I were both always sick with ear infections as kids, both starting when we were about 3 months old. My 2 1/2 year old has had TWO ear infections TOTAL. So, just because you were sick as a kid, doesn't mean your kids will be...

I'm mostly worried about how my 2 1/2 year old will adjust. He's used to being king of the castle, so I'm not sure how he'll take to having to share all of the sudden. We've been trying to gradually break him in to certain things, but I don't think he'll really get it until Meghan comes home. The good news is he keeps asking to play with her, so I hope that means things will be okay Roll Eyes

Sunny days 37 weeks for twins is fantastic! We have good friends who have twins who were born at 32 weeks, have no health or development issues and are bigger than my full term kid! So at 37 weeks, your little ones should be just fine!

Congratulations to all of those expecting a little bundle of joy. I had been unsure if I would be able to have children because of conflicting information I had received, but it is encouraging to see that it is possible. I hope all goes well Jill.

Thanks all! We're hanging in there, but I'm definitely feeling it this weekend. I think I've been having Braxton Hicks contractions, so will probably call the dr in the morning - appt on Wed and most likely they'll just have me wait till then, but we'll see...

How are you doing Nicole?

Olive, when you feel comfortable sharing updates, I'd love to hear of your progress. We were quite far into the adoption process when we switched gears but I still have a real soft spot in my heart for the idea of adopting.

I can't wait for the Megs to arrive! I'm sure Alex will do just fine - whether he's King or not. You all certainly deserve all this happiness - you've been through hell to get here. Of course, photos as soon as possible.

Just one week tomorrow Jill! Smiler

I can't wait to see photos of your new little bundle. I'll bet Alex will be just as excited as you are when she arrives! I remember when I had my daughter Emma, her big brother Ricky (who was nearly 3yrs old at the time) thought she was the best thing since sliced bread.... until she learned to crawl and kept destroying all his little games. Photos of the two of them together would be nice. Smiler

Luv & hugs

Yay Jill! I can't imagine how excited and ready you are to see your little girl. (You go 3 days before my wedding)

I just had a dating scan and we were able to see our 13 week old, bouncing around (my bladder must be a great trampoline). It was so neat to see how it really looks like a baby now.

I hope you have an easy C-section and quick recovery. I am sure your little guy will love his beautiful sister. (He will probably become overprotective of her!)

Good luck!
