Fantastic news Nicole, hopefully your journey will be smooth from here. Just to let you know that it does happen. I got pregnant naturally at thirty three with one tube obstructed the week after a hsg test. I have extensive adhesions and was very well during my pregnancy, in fact I was better than usual. My little angel is now two and a half.
LisaJo, I have also been referred for IVF in the hope of conceiving my second child (I'm 37). I also have extensive adhesions and my left tube is not where it should be as a result. They told me that it should become more accessable during stimulation treatment and this was the case, they successfully retrieved 4 eggs from my left tube. I was not successful on my first cycle of ivf due to repeated attacks of pouchitis and I was probably dehydrated as a result. Back on anti-biotics and hope to go for another cycle June/July. Would go through it again in a heartbeat, process is not as bad as imagined. Here's hoping our bad luck has run out and there is only success in the post. *Su *Su |

Thank you ladies!
I do feel so lucky. I'm still home resting but feeling better each day. Susan, I agree.. here's hoping to better luck for us and everyone moving forward. I'll be thinking of you as you go for round 2 of IVF. Best, Nicole |
