I was wondering if any of you had lots of pain after the HSG? I just had it this morning.. it didn't really hurt during the procedure (8:30am), but by 3:30 Pm, my lower abdomen was in pain. We found out that i have 1 tube blocked with scar tissue and the left one is ok. The left side is the site of the most pain. My doctor told me to sleep and give a call in the morning if I'm still in pain.... thanks for reading.

I had the same symptons and the simlar results of scar tissue damaging my left tube.

Its your cervix going down from being opened to allow the tube and fluid in for the test. That's the pain. It last from 3-10 hours and typically starts a few hours after the procdure.

Hang in there... I promise the pain will let up soon.
