Last Thursday I had some uterine biopsies taken. The procedure itself was not too bad, just some cramp like pain. Today I started to experience pretty strong pain; enough to make me double over at times. I can't help but think this may be related to the biopsy done the other day, but don't know why it may have taken so long to kick in. Of course the OB/GYN who did the procedure is out of the office for a week. Does anyone have suggestions as to what can help relieve the pain and or ideas of what may be causing this?

I'd call his office and ask to be referred to whoever is covering his patients. It's probably just spasms of the uterus, but I would not make assumptions before you know everything is OK.

If you can tolerate Motrin, it might help. Just be careful to watch for GI symptoms.

Take a deep breath and relax; this too will pass.
