I finally saw my gyno yesterday and asked for some relief from my 2 week long periods. He suggested Depro Lupron injection or Danazol pills. Does anyone here have any experience with either one of them? I'd love to take the pill to stop my periods (I have nasty pain as well as the duration) but a blood clot from my first surgery took care of that and the progesteron only pill sends me for wicked mood swings so I can't do that either.

I had the depo shot and bled CONSTANTLY the entire 3 months the shot is good for. Now my sister had it and her period just stopped completely. So you never know how your body will react.
I recommend the Nuvaring or the patch. The ring is just inserted vaginally once a month and removed so you can have your period. It is easy and I had no side effects from it. You may want ot look in to that.
