He was born April 23rd, 3:55pm weighing 7lbs 12oz. Pretty good for a 38 weeker! I had a c-section and stayed in the hospital for 3 days. Now, for those that said a c-section would be nothing compared to the surgeries I've had....lol....let me tell you this: It hurt SOOOOOOOO much the day after. Mind you, I have not had any surgeries prior to this in 10 years. I wasn't expecting any pain, therefore it really shocked me when I had some. It wasn't as bad as what I'd experienced with my surgeries but it still hurt so much. They wouldn't give me anything for pain except for tylenol (regular strength) until I begged them. They then gave me morphine tablets. Anyway, my baby boy is absolutely beautiful and we are totally in love. When I saw my doctor before being discharged, he mentioned that they could not find my right ovary. Is it common for it to just disappear like that? When having fertility treatments, they had trouble locating it then too BUT they were able to find it up pretty high. Could it just have shifted off somewhere far away? According to my doc, my adhesions weren't bad at all and were actually pretty good. I am sooooo happy to be a mommy!
CONGRATS!!!! We are so happy for your family. Stay in good health and spirits

Isn't the first day with a new baby just magical? The good news is that it just gets better...much as I miss Alex as a newborn, I'm having so much fun with him as a 2 year old. My best advice is to live in the moment as much as you can because tomorrow you'll wake up and that baby will be 6 months old and you'll be asking yourself how that could possibly be...
