I used to take Actonel and due to insurance not paying any longer I now take Fosomax and have for almost a year. I haven't noticed any problems what-so-ever. Have you experienced problems with it?

Fossamax is an osteoporosis drug that treats and helps prevent bone loss. I have never heard of it helping with bowel frequency although some other drugs do.
For example, Questran (cholestyramine) is a cholesterol medicine that has a side effect of constipation and it is sometimes given to pouchers/ostomy patients to help with frequency.
