Okay so it's been a while since we have talked about being pregnant. Just wanted to update everyone on how things are going. The BIG news is I will finally have my baby girl. I am going to have my C-section the week of September 15th-19th. I have had no problems so far(KNOCK ON WOOD). I am actually able to eat things that would normally make my stomach upset. So life is good right now. I am now 6 months & she is kicking the heck out of me. Let me know how you all are doing!!

Congrats on your girl!

I'm week 35 on Wednesday...c-section on July 16th. Big as a house and feeling the heat terribly. Almost have the nursery finished so feeling pretty much ready to go.

Lots of movement and feeling very bruised on the inside - like a pulled muscle.

No GI issues other than feeling indigestion, nausea and heartburn 24/7.

We've decided on Meghan Elizabeth for a name.

Love the name. I think we are going with Ella MaLyn but not nailed down just yet. This is my 1st girl & I am carrying really high so my rib feels like it's going to break when I eat anything.

Well good luck with everything. 1month to go for you!!

Thought I'd check in too...I'm 6 months now too and have been doing well over all.

I posted a couple weeks ago about going to OB triage for extreme pain in my abdomen. After ultrasounds galore, they found that I have some major adhesions and some of my small intestines have adhered to my uterus. I was told to expect pain throughout the pregnancy as my uterus grows. Not great news, but things could be worse...there could be a problem with the baby and so far he seems healthy as a horse!

What I don't like about all this is the pain obviously, but also the fact that my small intestines are attached to the top/front of my uterus which is pushing my uterus toward my back. This creates a strange look...my gut is slightly bigger than my baby bump which I HATE!

I had gained some weight before getting pregnant (after I quit smoking), so I was already heavier than I wanted to be. Now I really feel fat!

Other than that, things are going great. The baby seems to be in perfect health and is growing as he is supposed to. Plus my fiance and I are getting married in a week and a half and we couldn't be happier!

By the way...we are naming our little one William Michael, after his grandfathers on both sidesSmiler

Hope things continue to go well with you and all who are expecting!

Alex

Congrads on your wedding!! That sounds great. I am sorry to hear about your troubles. At least it gives the rest of us a chance to look out for these things. I hope you do not have to go through too much pain though. Does taking anything help it? I know it seems like a year away but we only have 3 more months!!

It really is coming up fast! With all the wedding preparation, my daughter's recitals, end of school for both my kids, etc., we haven't had much time to prepare for the baby. We don't even have a crib or anything! Yikes! The plan is to get things going the weekend after the wedding, and hopefully I'll have a nice baby shower...lol!

I am basically just trying to stay positive about the adhesion issue. I am just very grateful that the baby is strong and healthy in there. It will all work out...compared to active UC, this is nothing!

Hope things keep going great for you!

Alex
