| My high risk OB - who had lots of pouch and ostomy patients and whom I trusted completely - said ammonium was fine. Snce it was a nice to have for me - I have a perm ileo and the ammonium is a convenience not necessity for me - I chose not to take it. However I would have if I needed it as my dr said it was fine. |

| i got mixed advice from my obs and gi. depending on what they were looking at, it was considered both category B and C. i decided not to risk it and managed without it during pregnancy. just a heck of a lot of bathroom trips 3rd trimester at night.
