Hi ladies,
I just got the OK to move forward with my frozen embryo transfer on Monday Jan 7th. I'm very excited.... I'm just hoping that 2 or at least one embryo survive the thawing process. I have 4 good quality frozen embryos. I'll be doing Assisted Hatching with this frozen transfer and they will be putting me on a type of prednisone for 4 days. YIKES! I have to say... I was shocked that this was part of the standard process. I was hoping to never see this drug again. I take my first pill in the morning. I guess 4 days is nothing. It is 4 days.. 4 times a day at 4MG. Not that much considering I was at 80MGs from 6 years. Anyone else done out there done this as part of their FET process? Please keep your fingers crossed for me on Monday and then again during the ever so fun two week wait. On the good side... just today, I started to get my typical signs of pouchitis. Typically I go on Cipro to relieve this, but can't b/c of the transfer on Monday. The Doctors think the prednisone may nip it... so I'm crossing my fingers there too. I guess the next two- three weeks I should just permanently keep my fingers crossed. Hope you all have a wonderful 2008 ladies! Nicole |
