Hi J-Pouch Gals;
Has anyone had the Novasure procedure? If so, how did it go, any issues with the pouch? Jan, any thoughts? Thanks everyone!
Michele

I just had the procedure done two days ago. I have an ileostomy though, not a J pouch so outcomes could be different. I am happy to report that there has been less cramping and pain immediately following the procedure than I expected.

Thanks Janice for taking the time to answer me. I am having testing done at the present time to see if we are going to go the Novasure route or straight to a hysterectomy. I have no Fallopian tubes, and have had loads of period issues for over 6yrs. Was diagnosed with a Fibroid and uterine polyps in the recent past. Tried drug therapy, a D&C and just plain waiting it out....I'm tired and want something done at this point. If it weren't for the adhesions in my abdomen, I would go straight to the hysterectomy. Although I've been having mini blockages due to the adhesions recently so maybe it isn't such a bad idea to have the open surgery! I'm so confused.... Thanks for listening!
