Oh Nicole - I'm sorry you had to go through that! I can only imagine how worried you must have been...it was great you had an appt that day and didn't ahve to try and get in last minute.

It's great the dr isn't worried; since you feel good about the dr, take him at his word and try not to worry too much.

Well... not the best news today. The twin that was always a bit smaller heart stopped beating. We got the news today and I've been home all day just taking care of me. Frowner Frowner

The Dr's feel that the single is really strong and that I have a very stong chance of keeping this one to term. So I'm praying this one is a fighter like me. (I will be a mom!!)

We go back in tomorrow and early next week. They want to start seeing me more often to better monitor the situation.

Thanks for listening and being there everyone!

Nicole

I am so sorry about the little twin. I have tears coming down. I am glad they are going to monitor the singleton more closely. Tell that kiddo to stay put. I love your strength and positive thinking. Stay strong and don't change a thing about you.

Oh Nicole, I'm so sorry! I do believe things always work out for the best, even when it is sad. Sounds like your single will be strong and thrive so maybe that's why things have turned out as they have.

Hang in there and take good care of yourself and your little fighter. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you ladies. I'm trying really hard to stay postive and strong through all of this. Having your support really makes a big difference.

We went in yesterday and the single is looking strong. We go in again tomorrow morning for another look and then again next Wed. Next Wed will be the end of the 1st trimester for the single... so planning to ask the Dr if this means we can actually start breathing a bit.

But to be honest, until the baby is in my arms... I think I'll always be nervous.

Thank you again ladies!

Jill - getting really close for you. I can't wait to see pictures of your little girl!!!

It was so fun calling my grandma and letting her know. 13 weeks and 4 days. Next Tueday we start the 2nd trimester.

Thought I would share a happy week.

Thanks for being with me through both the happy and sad weeks ladies.

So exciting Nicole! It is fun to tell family; I'm so jealous you have a living grandma to share such an exciting time with...

Yes, 3 weeks, but I've felt she was going to be early all along, so stay tuned. No sign of it yet, just a feeling. I've attached a picture of me, Alex and Meghan...see what you have forward to - looking like a house! And this was 2 weeks ago, you should see me now!

Hi all,

18 weeks and got some exciting news! We are having a BOY! We are so excited! My husband is over the moon excited.

Only hard thing is that his head is right on my bladder so it makes it hard for me to pee right now. But aside from that... I'm feeling GREAT!

Thanks for sharing in our excitment! Smiler

Hi Nicole, I hope that your pregnancy is still going good. I had the same problem as you with unexplained bleeding. Mine happened at 13 weeks. Did they ever tell you what they thought it was from? Did you have any more bleeding? I think mine was caused because I was straining to have a bowel movement but my DR. didn't think that was it. I am due Jan. 21,2009

Thanks Autumn! We are so excited. We get to see our little boy in Dec. Planning for the 1st week of Dec. I'm scheduling my c-section around a specific Dr but I really trust him the most at our high risk OB. I totally have pregnancy brain and I have heard it turns into mommy brain too. I can't wait! Smiler

eener21 - They think I had / have a polyp on my cervix. It actually pretty common and some people also bleed for the 1st few months when their period would normally happen. They call that cervical bleeding and not uterus bleeding. Fortunalty for me all is good and it stopped after the 3rd month. Its totally freaky though b/c when you see blood it is impossible to not be scared. Congradulation on a January family addition! Smiler

Thanks for the support everyone! We did our 20 week ultrasound on Monday and all looks good. YEA!
