So I broke down and couldn't wait to May 2nd and had another beta done this morning.
GOOD News! The numbers have been doubling every two days like they are suppose to. They are actually more than doubling. Could be twins!!! We'll just have to wait and see. Still keeping my fingers crossed for May 2nd and that the baby or babies are in the right place. We also still have a long way to go before we are out of the first trimester. But just staying positive over here. Thanks for the support! Nicole |

Well.... this is a very crazy day! The satsically impossible happen. We put in 2 five day embroys with a 40% chance of twins and a less than 1% chance of triplets. It was 1/1000.
We found out that we have triplets! This is just crazy! They say that there is a 50% chance that nature will fix this on its own and turn this into twins. We are praying that's what happens. The Dr won't let me carry more than twins... so I'm completely terrified at this point. Trilled to be pregnant and that they are healthy, just scared of what's happening over the next few months. Thanks for listening and the support. Nicole |

Thank you so much ladies for your support. Nature has indeed stepped in... I think our bodies know what we can and can't do. I'm soooooo glad that this was taken out of my hands.
So as of now... looks likes twins. Just hoping the bleeding stops so that I don't have any additional issues. Still a long way to the end of the 1st trimester. I think I'll actually breath when I get to that point! Thanks again. Nicole |

Nicole this is AMAZING!! I am so happy for you! Sorry I fell off the board for awhile things have been a little crazy over here too. I got my BFP yesterday!! HCG was 396! We only transfered 1 5 day embryo and we have 4 more frozen. Didn't think there was any chance I'd be having twins but after reading your story I guess you never know. I am so happy for You and DH. I am glad nature took care of thing as you said, after trying so hard to conceive I can't imagine being faced with that decision. God doesn't give us more than we can handle. Keep us posted.

Nicole: Isn't it strange how natures works on our bodies?? I am glad you and the twins are doing good. My dr wouldnt let me carry triplets for that same reason. How far along are you and when are you due? Sorry if you already mentioned and I must have forgot about it. You will have that absent mind when the babies arrives. :-)

Autum,
I loved seeing the picture of you and the boys. Thank you for sharing! I'm currently 10 weeks TODAY! YEA! I see a high risk Obgyn on June 3rd and start working with him. One of the twins is looking really strong. The other one is smaller with a higher heartbeat than they would want to see. But they say that this is not abnoraml with twins. So PRAYING all is ok. I've been experinces a lot of pulling an some minor cramping in my pelvic area that the Dr's say is my pevic pushing through scar tissue. Still trying to get use to that feeling, but I'll put up with it if it means everything is ok. Thanks for all the support!! Nicole |

Congrats on 10 weeks Nicole - 1/4 of the way there! A December birth sounds great - you'll avoid the heat of summer, esp since you have two little ones in there.
I'm 33 weeks today. Saw the OB yesterday and baby is in the 66% for size, which is great. It's funny, my OB knows my whole story and yesterday he told me he thinks I turned out pretty normal for all I've been through - said I must have started out in a pretty good place. It felt good to have someone acknowledge that I've survived well. The dr's own kids have issues, one GI related so he understands the psychological impact of it all. Anyway, we've decided to name the baby Meghan Elizabeth and we can't wait to see her in 6 weeks! |

Very scary morning... I woke up to very heavy bleeding and was really nervous about the twins. The good news is that I had my first meeting with the High Risk Obgyn. Thankfully the ultrasound looked fine and the babies are doing well at 11 weeks. But what a morning! I go back next Tue to make sure all is OK. But they didn't seem worried at all.
I'm really like my new Dr now that we have left the fertility clinic. And I was very relieved to confirm his j-pouch experince. Now just hoping everything stays put and grows like they are suppose too. Holding my breath for three more weeks. The Dr says after week 14 that I can start telling my family and friends. I think once my husband and I can start openly talking about it, that this will start to feel real. For now I still feel like things are uncertain. Thank you all for being the place I can come too with this information. I think my husband is getting sick of me re-hashing things over and over again each day (I don't blame him... i'm a GREAT worry wart). So it really helps to tell you all and write it out! Best, Nicole |
