Just wanted to announce the birth of our little boy, Anderson. He was born at 37 wks on the 8th by c-section. They were prepared for all sorts of adhesions and mess but there was just some soft scarring and everything went perfectly. Just wanted to give some hope to those who are trying to conceive after j-pouch surgery. It is done, more easily for some than others, but don't count yourself out of the baby game just because of your pouch.
This picture is of him trying to get some sun for his jaundice
Congratulations! I love to hear these stories!!!We are planning on trying in 2 years but seeing a little one does give me baby fever. He is adorable and I am sure he is providing lots of awesome moments!

Congratulations!! He is absolutely adorable, of course. I had a girl not long before, on August 20, so I can well-imagine your life at the present. (C-section...also had a mess of adhesions, but the C-section went great--I don't count the agonizing blockage afterwards because surgery itself went very, very well. I see that as a mere blemish on the whole process).
