I have a rv fistula that my dr has said is like pinhole size. So she had me on flagyl. Which,admittedly, I have not taken religiously. However, I have not had any change. My symptoms are mostly just air, but once or twice I’ve had what appears to be yellowish stool. It could be just regular discharge though.
Here’s where it gets complicated. I am breastfeeding my 6 month old with no intentions to stop.

What meds are safe while breastfeeding?
Or can I wait 6 months and have a surgical procedure after I’m done breastfeeding?
