I had an HSG done on Friday and the procedure was very quick with only a little bit of discomfort. However, about 2 hours after the procedure I started having painful cramps. These cramps get worse as my pouch fills and I get a little relief when I use the restroom. Is this normal? If so, how long will it last?

Hi there,

I had this as well when I did both of my HSG's. It only lasted about 8 hours for me on the 1st one and 12 hours for the 2nd one. Its actually pretty common from what I remember thr DR's telling me. It does hurt though...
