I did read a couple of the other posts. I am not sexually active. I hope to be someday though. Smiler This is gonna run by my doctor today too but thought I'd pass it by you out there in the 'real world'...I notice that sometimes in different positions of walking sitting ect that there is a sort of pressure/mild pain (and pain used only for lack of another descriptive as it really doesn't hurt exactly) by my urinary tract/vaginal area. Surgery IS very new. Has anyone else experienced some discomfort in this area as well? Not sexually related. Also mild discomfort in urinating...sometimes. And sometimes I really have to go but it just dribbles out. Weird. Never had these sorts of issues prior to surgery. Not that I regret the surgery. Not at all...just wondering what new horizons bring...

I think you should definately see you doctor about that. I didn't experience that from surgery. Sounds a bit like a urinary tract infection. But I really don't know.

No, I haven't experienced that. The only thing that is different in that area now is that my bladder cannot hold nearly as much as before surgery

Nothing like that here either. You should mention to your surgeon and/or OBGYN, you could have some scar tissue pressing on your bladder.

Yes, yes and yes....urinary dribbling/trickling post op was always a problem but was usually linked to the urinary catheter...irritations etc...occasionally a mild infection that I handled with cranberry juice more than antibiotics...the dribling goes away on its own after a while...no reason to worry...
If you are recent post-op then you are still swollen down there...and that may be part of the pain/pressure...swelling or 'pushing' of the pouch...my pouch is abdominal...so not down there but I still feel it...I still feel pressure on occasion especially when sitting down..for a while it was due to a collection of fluid behind the vagina...now it is more of the occasional 'vaginal cramp'...still not dangerous...and as for sex...works just fine Big Grin
As my oncologist once said...just make sure that you don't choose a man who is more than 8 inches long...???!! What did he expect me to do? Go to singles bars with a measuring tape?

It could be worse...oh, wait..it already has been! then I guess it can only get better from here....

eww... Eeker

Thanks for the input. Its getting somewhat better. But still feels slightly irritated but at this point I am thinking that its a lot to do with excessive wiping when I have a BM...
