hi! i had a one ovary removed during my j-pouch surgery, then a hysterectemy just after. now, a few years later, it seems i have a large cyst on my remaining ovary, and will have to have that removed. when i had a ct scan, they discovered a gallstone and a renal cyst. i have had unexplained symptoms that all make sense now (gallstone)for quite some time now. the pain has been particularly bothersome recently, and i have nausea and vomiting at times. i'm just wondering if it fits surgically to have the gall bladder removed at the same time as the ovary and ovarian cyst. would it be called for? or do gallstones ever resolve on their own? i know laproscopic surgery is probably not an option because of scar tissue from 3 previous surgeries. also, what's a renal cyst? i see the ob/gyn surgeon (an oncological specialist who did my other surgeries, thank god) next week, and want to know what gastro concerns i should ask him about.

thanks!!
ellen
