Hi ladies,

On Monday we were able to transfer 2 of the 4 frozen embryo's. So now the impossible waiting time begins. I should know something on the 18th.

I'm praying that this frozen round works!!I'm thinking sticky thoughts.

Hope you all are doing well.

Nicole

Oooh, good luck to you! Crossing everything & sending preggy thoughts your way. (Doesn't the two-week wait suck?!)

Welcome to the 2ww!! Sticky thoughts! Looking forward to hear your BFP on the 18th. How are you feeling so far? I remember when I had my transfer. 2 days after the transfer I felt odd and had lower dull back pain that wouldn't let up and was so tired. Turns out I was preggo with twins. I am curious since you did FET. What was the average cost? I know it is alot cheaper than doing a fresh IVF.

Hi Jill! Congrats on your pregnancy and is there one or more in there?? I am not sure if I missed that posting...

Hello everyone else! I attached a picture of our IVF babies.

Thanks Saphyre...I'm pregnant with a single. I already have an almost 2 year old from IVF one and we wanted to be very cautious about twins - don't think my body or mind could handle it with a 2 year old! Plus, we had a day 6 hatching blast to transfer so we felt pretty confident it would take.

Those babies are just gorgeous! I wish I could reach out and pinch those cheeks!

Thanks Ladies. It means so much to me to have your support!! And Jill... not sure what I would do without you. Thanks for always checking in with me.

Saphyre, what you describe is exzaclty what I am feeling... tired, lower back pain and a bit warm. I would be THRILLED if we got twins. I just hope to blessed with a child. One or two would be wonderful. If its twins... I will need tons of tips from you! Smiler

In terms of the frozen cycle... this is costing me 3,500 plus meds. I'm not doing a natural FET b/c I have asthma. Its too hard to regulate my cycles on asmacort. A fresh cycle cost me 14,000 (not including the meds). I think this 3500 would be cheaper with a natual cycle b/c you would need to be seen less by the doctors.

I'm VERY lucky that my work insurance covers up to 25,000 for fertility. Unfortunalty for me I've used most of that up with my three fertility surgies to get me to the point where I could do IVF. But I can't complain b/c I wouldn't be able to be at this point without that help.

JPS - yes this waiting SUCKS!!!! I'm just praying that things stick this time.

Also...they have me on double the hormome meds b/c I bleed a week early on my 1st fresh IVF try. My poor husband has to deal with me on all these meds. I took the week off from work though. I wanted to give myself the best possible chance.

Thanks again ladies for crossing fingers, sticky thoughts and praying for us. You all are the best!

Nicole

OK... this 2WW is nuts! I sneeze and I'm like.. wait does that mean something? I'm suck a dork!

So far only symptoms are cramps, back pain and feeling warm from time to time. But all of these can be due to the progestrogen injections and estrogen pills they have me on.

thanks for letting me share... The 18th is getting closer and closer.

Smiler

Before you start IVF you think the shots are going to be the hardest part - then you hit the 2ww! Hang in there, my fingers and toes are cramped from being crossed!

Thank you so much Shell and Jill!

Jill, you are so right. The shots are NOTHING compared to the wait. Including the two weeks of progesterone shots with the huge needles... they don't even compare in my book to the two week wait.

Also, I'm trying to keep thinking of positive thoughts... it was this day in my 1st IVF cycle that I started bleeding. Just making it through the whole two weeks will be a step in the right direction.

Also... new symptom today, I have cramps on my right lower abdomen. Could also be the progesterone. Smiler

Thanks for being there ladies. 4 more days! Smiler

OK.... tomorrow's the day!!!

Pretty much expecting a BFN b/c most of my symptoms have gone away. And I did cheat and do a home test at 9 days post transfer and it was a BFN. So i'm thinking tomorrow's going to be a NO and I'm a bit prepared for it. I see this as the good side of doing a home test... the wait was just sooo hard.

One thing to be happy about is that I didn't start my period a week early this time. So I hope this means something to the doctors that can get us one step closer to having our child.

I'm stilling praying for tomorrow... but not getting my hopes too high at this point.

I'll let you all know when I get the final result.

Thank you thank you thank you for being there.

Nicole
