Crikey! I still enjoy sex, get aroused, have great orgasms, but am dry, dry, dry. Thank Gawd for WET and other great lubes! However, my boyfriend views my inability to lubricate on my own as some kind of deficiency on his part that he's not arousing me enough. Does anyone else have this issue?

I am the same as you. Everything else is fine but I need to use lubricates as well or suffer lots of pain and discomfort.

I had the same problem for about a year after my surgery. You didn't say how long it had been, but my OB/GYN suggested that I use Replens. It is an over the counter vaginal moisturizer that helps restore your natural lubrication.

Yeah, but I am post menopausal, so it just comes with the territory.

Take a deep breath and relax; this too will pass.

I have the same problem. DRY! I don't think it's hormonal...but who knows. I just use LOADS of lube and fortunately my husband doesn't get upset that we have to. Maybe you can show your boyfriend how many of us have the same problem and that we don't consider it their "fault"? Or post a poll and show him the results?

Ladies,
Thanks for your replies. I just had my take down in December, so it's pretty new still. I showed my boyfriend this post and he was very understanding and actually said that he didn't mind...we enjoy lube...it's lots of fun. I think I just put the pressure/blame on myself because I've never had this problem before. So, thanks again. This site has saved my sanity more than once!
