Howdy all! So my boyfriend is coming to visit me at the end of the month and we had decided that we are at the stage of us fooling around. I'm still a virgin but he isn't. I am totally fine for us to fool around, but I have one problem. He REALLY wants us to 69, but I am kinda worried about leaking, especially since I'll more than likey be on top. As well I find that sometimes I can pass gas while being on my stomach. I'm unsure as to how I can tell him..? Or maybe do something to help minimize my anxiety. Has anyone here had this situation? Thanks!

Hi Beanie, Interesting cunundrum....first off, eat light beforehand...next take a gasX or Beano or whatever brand that you have where you are to reduce gas risks (plus maybe a double dose of lomotil?)...then empty out as much as possible just before (a good time to freshen up too)...light a candle, keep some kleenex close at hand (I hide a washcloth/towel between the matress and boxspring in case of emergencies!) and prepare to have a good sense of humour! At your stage in life sex should be a fun adventure full of new discoveries and joys..stress and worry will not make it fun at all...if he sees your scars then he knows that you have had major surgery and therefore must have asked a question or 2...warn him that pouches are funny little things with minds of their own and distinct personalities...and that maybe 69 is not the best position for a poucher...you may choose to alternate pleasures and care for each other seperately instead of simultaneously (this would allow you to not be on your stomach) or choose to enjoy yourselves in the shower or bathtub (could be kinda kinky But the best thing that I can advise is knowing how to laugh at yourself and eachother as well as not taking any of this stuff too seriously...one of my best, healthy girlfriends get the runs after chinesse food and has had a few rather embarassing incidents with unexpected explosive gas+leakage...she just screams at the top of her lungs, 'out'a the way...gota go!!!!' and sprints out of bed... So have fun.... Sharon It could be worse...oh, wait..it already has been! then I guess it can only get better from here....

I'd tell him the truth, you are comfortable with having sex and want to experience love making. You are not sure/ready to leap forward doing other new things. The other stuff will come in time and when you are more comfortable. You want to enjoy and not be worring about other "positions" just yet. He must be a special fellow. I have a problem with lying on my belly too. Most of the time with 69 you are not putting pressure on your stomach which is the problem with me. My advice is to try it for a minute. If you feel any pressure, just get up and tell him your uncomfortable. It will be true. There are a lot of positions to try. In some of those positions you (or him) will be uncomfortable for other reasons besides a pouch. It's part of the fun. www.lifeisapotty.blogspot.com C-diff: 3/2001 UC Diagnosis: Summer 2002 Step 1: 9/10/10 Step 2: 12/8/10 Cuffitis: 2/2011 Chronic Pouchitis: 11/2011
