Update: My doc did another u/s one week later and saw 2 gestational sacs. They said from the size of the sac we were 5 weeks 2 days. Tomorrow would be 6 weeks. We go for another u/s on Wednesday of next week to check for viability. They said we should see a heartbeat next week. Sharon

Jamie, I'm 31 and have had my J-pouch for 8 and 1/2 years. My husband and I were trying for about 4-5 months before I got pregnant. Now I'm 20 weeks along with twins! Hope things are working out for you.

Hi. We tried for 3 months before getting pregnant. I didn't have any problems with the pregnancy or the C-section and my 8 month old is absolutely perfect. I was always worried about the same thing before we were ready for a child, so I know how you are feeling. Most likely, everything will work out just perfectly. Good luck.

Wanted to let you know that my husband and I tried for about 3 days to get pregnant. Looking across the room at my week old baby girl tells me it was pretty successful!

I'm actually on here after being away for awhile to post a positive story about my birth experience. When I did searches when we were thinking about having a baby, all I read were the struggles, so I thought I should balance it out with a (near) perfect pregnancy/birth story!
