I would like to start with the good news, I have been having IVf and can confirm that I am pregnant - currently 9 weeks. I have a Pouch, for FAP, and have had this around 5 years now. What i am concerned about tho, is that when i went for my 7 week scan, they discovered that my Womb is at a complete right angle and is very low down in my pelvis. They said that if it stays in this position there wont be any room for the baby to grow. I have to go back for another scan next week, and hope that they can see my womb moved up slightly. Does anyone have anything similiar they can give me some advice about?? xx

Congratulations on your pregnancy!! The uterus moves a lot as it grows and often the original position has little to do with it. Unless you have extremely serious adhesions, it should be fine. My uterus was retroverted, supposedly a concern for even becoming pregnant. But, I became pregnant twice and the pregnancy developed normally to term. I had a lot of back pain until the uterus rose out of the pelvis, but I was fine. This was before my j-pouch surgery though. Jan Take a deep breath and relax; this too will pass.
