Anyone heard of a gracilis flap?

I had one attempt at surgically repairing my rare rectovaginal fistula that didn't work.

Second option is to do a gracilis flap. This will require a plastic surgeon to remove muscle from my upper leg and stick it between the anus and the vagina to close up the fistula.

Any experiences or comments on this type of surgery?

I've had this surgery, although instead of using the gracilus muscle, they used a gluteal thigh flap muscle but it's the same surgery and a plastic surgeon did it while my GI surgeon assisted. The surgery and recovery was brutal but if repaired my fistula and has held strong for 12 years now. PM if you need more info.
