Lomotil and Implantation

I am trying to conceive and have heard that even over the counter meds such as Advil can affect the outcome of implantation. I am trying to avoid any medication, but does anyone know if it's safe to take Lomotil. I realize that I shouldn't take it while pregnant, but want to first get to that point.

Lomotil is category C during pregnancy so probably best to avoid it if you can. Imodium is a better alternative, but I've heard it's both category B and C. I believe my OB said it was B and my GI said it was C. There was a disconnect between what the book said that they reference vs. the electronic reference they use.

The good news is that your digestion will probably slow down during pregnancy (at least in the beginning). Mine slowed down so much in the beginning that I was only going to the bathroom 1-2 times per day. It was a great perk :-)
