How long after you have the final phase of the j pouch surgery do they tell you it is safe to get pregnant? And is it more common to have c-sections?

Check out my response under the "when to conceive" thread in this forum. C-sections are recommended by most drs, and are advised by the Cleveland Clinic. Do a search on c-section and you'll get lots of info.
